A couple of weeks ago we took the dogs up to Half Moon Lake for a little ball and frisbee fun, since our yard is too small to really let them get some good exercise. We even purchased a longer/larger ball thrower for the occasion--so we could be sure to launch those puppies waaaaayyyy out there. As we drove up to the lake, we could see a thick "cloud" covering the mountains, and it wasn't long before we were driving through it. As you know, I LOVE fog. It turned out, the entire lake was snuggled in a thick blanket of the stuff.
Below: the road to Half Moon
Below: looking out over Half Moon Lake. Oh yeah.
Below: The dogs barely containing their neurotic joy....
And....yeehaw!!!!
A short clip of the goofy kids and dogs...
Below: Phoenix on the lake, so surreal....
And Ember's crazy, frosty face....
The kids having fun on the ice...
And some scenes of the foggy shoreline...
L loved creating "platters" from the snow....
O running along the shore...
sheepish kids....
And more scenes of the lake...
And the drive out...I don't know who had more fun, the dogs, the kids, or me.
