Day 2 dawned beautifully, below is the sunrise, looking out from our window.
We packed up and headed out while the weather was still good. We drove down Johnson Road, and the scenery was truly wonderful...below:
Our first hike of the day was more of a stroll down whitehouse wash, where we got to play on some fun slickrock and pretty much just enjoy exploring the area. The kids LOVE this hike.
Wildman, on the right, and his brother, ODD, on the left.
The stone tunnel, such a fun feature!
HSF, standing at the top of the tunnel.
Wildman with nephew "wingnut"...
A view looking back down the tunnel...
Rock, looking a lot like petrified poop...
Perfect "sand boxes" that the kids could've spent the rest of the day playing in...
We happened upon two very young kangaroo mice. It was fun watching them hop around.
Below: two of the best dads on the planet.

Way gorgeous photos (of course). Looks like a fun time had by all. I want to visit there sometime.
