Sunday morning, I'm in the bathroom doing my hair and getting ready for church. NAM comes in, still sleepy-eyed, sits on the toilet, looks at me and smiles. He says, "Mom, I love you."
I'm wondering what inspired this outburst of affection, so I ask, "Why do you love me?" Without hesitation, he replies, "Because you're so pretty." That makes a mom's day, I tell ya. :)

What an amazing kid. I remember my bout of the plague. Itchiness. Glad they're not bad, so far.
