On the first day of winter the weather gave to me...a snowfall on a spruce tree! (Okay, the pictures below are not spruce trees, but we do have them in the yard, and they do have snow on them. ) I've always said, if it's going to be winter, we may as well have a lot of snow! We got about 5 inches yesterday. Now I'm really itching to go ride my horse...
From now on, the days will get longer! Wahoo!

Winter is definitely better with snow around. It doesn't feel as cold when there is snow for some reason.
