Stargirl

So, for Wildgirl's last book report of the year, she read the book Stargirl.  For a part of her creative book report, she went to school dressed as one of the characters in the book....Stargirl!  Yes, she was thrilled to be able to dress like Stargirl.  :)  In fact, going through the costume box was like opening a whole new world of characters, and she spent the afternoon and evening trying on all the skirts and shawls and jewelry and running outside to become each different character for awhile.  She cracks me up, but it does my heart good to see her thriving in her imaginary world...love it.

Below: Stargirl goes to H Elementary!  even the sunflower on the lunch box...though we didn't have a ukulele or pet rat to send with her.
