Below, April 1st dawned warm, springy...the birds twittering in the trees...flowers budding...the sunshine sparkling in the fresh dew...yeah.

So, over Easter weekend, we went south-- again. Wildman had a friend ask him to prune his trees...and B&B were kind enough to let us stay in their home... again.

...and hiked up the local cinder cone.

Notice the happy faces and cheerful countenances? Me either.

But the views of Snow Canyon were spectacular!

The wind was mighty, the cold was biting...but there! See it? a smile!

At the summit! They loved seeing the extinct volcano!

The next day we got up early and decided to go for a drive to see Sand Hollow...we'd never seen it before. It didn't take long.

Then on the way back to B&B's, we stopped at a park in St. George...a natural playground!

Of course there was a storm...but we saw this rainbow from the back patio...

And then home again! We were going to stop at the Meadow Hot Springs, but the hail and wind were a bit discouraging. Below: Willard Peak in Clouds...

Spectacular photos...as usual. Thanks for sharing both the photos and the narrative.
Glad you had a great trip! Love the photos!
Wow! I'm glad you got to have some warmth on Easter, even if you had to drive to find it. Awesome pics as always! Love you!
That looks like one wild storm. Energizing.
We'll take you anytime. And it will be payback in July when we need to refresh up north.
Volcanoes and double rainbows...who could ask for more?
