I left Monday (the 25th) and headed for Capitol Reef Ntl Park, all by myself! Kind of a liberating-I'm not completely dependant anymore-I can take care of me-doing adventurous things-need my desert fix-where did my summer go kind of thing. I ended up hiking almost six miles one day, doing Hickman Bridge and Cassidy Arch. The weather was incredible, the campground full, and the desert still smells delightfully deserty. Lots of fun!
